- Patient supine with leg straight
- Examiner supports the knee with both hands and wobbles it from side to side, while moving the knee through ranges of flexion and extension
Positive Wobble Test
Pain: Medial or lateral ligament strain, meniscal lesion
Increased motion/gapping: Medial or lateral collateral ligament rupture
This test is useful as a general screen to help localize and assess knee joint ligament stability.
